Pre-Purchase
Inspection:
 A pre-purchase
inspection includes inspecting every component of the house that
is visible and testing all the mechanical systems. We enter all
accessible crawlspaces and walk roofs that aren't too steep or
that could be damaged. We open all electrical panel boxes and
use the most advanced technology available- moisture meters;
carbon monoxide/gas detectors; infra-red heat sensors etcetera.
Pre-Drywall
Inspection:
 A pre-drywall
inspection for a new home is typically done just before the
contractor is ready to insulate and install the drywall.
Plumbing connections; wiring; duct work, framing and much more
are visible at this time. A follow-up visit immediately after
the first inspection certifies that any defects found have been
corrected before the walls are covered. The final inspection
usually occurs just before the walk through with the contractor.
At this time you will receive your final report and from it can
generate a "punch list" of items that need attention
before settlement.
